Remove the FF Protect Tool Firefox Addon

FF Protect Tool is a Firefox addon that will display advertisements in search result pages and web sites that you visit. When installed, FF Protect Tool will download a list of sites that it should monetize in some manner. It then injects a javascript script into sites that you visit so that it displays advertisements, appends affiliate tags to links, or performs some other type of monetization.
